Here is how to do so:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Click <b>Start<\/b> | <b>Settings<\/b> | <b>System<\/b>.<\/li>\n<li>Click the <b>Notifications &amp; Actions<\/b> tab.<\/li>\n<li>Now scroll down and locate the app for which you intend to disable the notifications under the <b>Show notifications from these apps heading<\/b>.<\/li>\n<li>Move the corresponding slider to the left (Off).<\/li>\n<li>Exit the window.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Remove Malicious Programs \/ Apps<\/h2>\n<p>You might have somehow ended up installing a rogue program \/ app on your computer that is constantly throwing up advertising pop-ups of many kinds and this event has simply driven you to the boiling point in no time. What you should do in such a scenario is to review all apps which you installed around the time when such pop-ups started to appear. Next, you should also scan your computer for viruses as well as spyware softwares by suing reputable programs.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Click <b>Start<\/b> | <b>Settings<\/b>.<\/li>\n<li>Now click the <b>System<\/b> icon.<\/li>\n<li>Click <b>Apps and Features<\/b>.<\/li>\n<li>You\u2019ll be provided with the list of all the apps installed in the computer. Arrange them in the datewise manner by selecting <b>Sort by install date<\/b> from the dropdown menu.<\/li>\n<li>Now you can easily identify and remove all programs that have come from untrusted \/ unknown publishers.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Block Pop-Ups in the Browser<\/h2>\n<p>Here is how you can very easily block pop-ups within the browser while you\u2019re on the internet.<\/p>\n<h3>Microsoft Edge:<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Click the <b>More Actions<\/b> (three dots in succession) icon.<\/li>\n<li>Select <b>Settings<\/b> | <b>View advanced settings<\/b>.<\/li>\n<li>Move the Block Pop-Ups slider to the right (On).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Other Browsers:<\/h3>\n<p>Download a program that blocks online pop-ups and advertisements, for example <a href=\"https:\/\/www.opera.com\/features\/ad-blocker\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>Ad-Blocker<\/b><\/a>.
