Printing a document, image etc has become a matter of a few clicks nowadays.<\/p>\n

Gone are those days when we had to rush to the computer market to get a simple document printed. Now, most of us have printers at our homes with which we can easily print as many documents, images as we like.<\/p>\n

Sometimes the whole printing experience is ruined courtesy a software issue. The trouble lies somewhere between the Printer\u2019s driver, Windows<\/b> etc. Let\u2019s look at the software elements that might create any issues in a printing job.<\/p>\n

Printer & Slow Devices?<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n

Optimize Windows 10<\/h2>\n

Windows 10<\/b> can be safely termed as a myriad of extremely sophisticated computer programming, algorithms etc. All of this programming is supposed to facilitate users from a vast majority of fields perform their routine tasks in an efficient manner. However, this also means that sometimes some of the functionality isn\u2019t required at all by a user, but is still somehow up and running on his\/ her computer. That is where a PC Optimizer<\/b> steps in and does the trick.<\/p>\n

Set Plain Paper Type<\/h2>\n

A certain menu in the Print<\/b> dialog box helps you set various attributes for the print. Select Plain Paper<\/b> for optimum print quality.<\/p>\n

  2. Select your printer.<\/li>\n

      Connect the Printer to a High-Speed USB Port<\/h2>\n

      USB Ports<\/b> are classified based on their capacity to handle large volumes of data in the given period of time. USB 3.0<\/b> can handle data up to 60 Mbps<\/b>. Use a High-Speed USB Port<\/b> to connect your printer to the computer to augment its performance.<\/p>\n

      Disable Antivirus<\/h2>\n

      The Real-Time Scan<\/b> feature of your Antivirus<\/b> might be eating up a whole lot of resources while it is active in the background, and that as a consequence, would be affecting your printer\u2019s performance. It should be paused until you\u2019ve completed the print job.<\/p>\n

      1. Right-click the Antivirus icon on the far-right corner of the Taskbar<\/b>.<\/li>\n
      2. Select Pause Protection<\/b>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Convert PDF Files to .docx format<\/h2>\n

        A Portable Document Format <\/b>(PDF<\/b>) takes much longer to process and print when compared to Microsoft Office Word Document<\/b> (.docs <\/b>and .doc<\/b>) formats. So you can easily shorten the time it takes for the document to be actually printed by saving it in any of the Microsoft Office Word Document<\/b> formats.<\/p>\n
