Here are the steps to get rid of this issue:<!--more--><\/p>\n<div class=\"banner-right-box\">\n<h2>Management Console Slow?<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<h2>Copy Missing IEFrame.dll File<\/h2>\n<p>This issue occurs when the original <b>IEFrame.dll<\/b> file goes corrupt and as a result <b>Windows<\/b> fails to load the contents of this file. Extract the original version from operating system installation media.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Insert <b>Windows installation DVD\/ CD ROM <\/b>in your drive and restart the system.<\/li>\n<li>Press <b>F2<\/b> or <b>Delete<\/b> key repeatedly until you come across the <b>CMOS Configurations<\/b> screen.<\/li>\n<li>Set the following configurations:<br \/>\n<strong>First Boot Device: DVD\/ CD ROM Drive<br \/>\n<\/strong><strong>Second Boot Device: Hard Disk Drive<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Save the changes and exit.<\/li>\n<li>Your computer will automatically restart. You\u2019ll get the <b>Press any key to boot from CD <\/b>message on your screen. Press any key at that moment.<\/li>\n<li>Once the setup loads, press <b>Shift <\/b>+ <b>F10<\/b> keys simultaneously.<\/li>\n<li><b>Elevated Command Prompt<\/b> will now open. Type the following command and press <b>Enter<\/b>:<br \/>\ncopy ieframe.dll D:\\Windows\\System32<\/li>\n<li>After the file is successfully copied, exit the setup wizard and restart your computer in Normal Mode.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Restore Original Snap-Ins Information<\/h2>\n<p><b>Snap-Ins<\/b> is a part of <b>Microsoft Management Console<\/b>. Another likely cause why <b>Management Console<\/b> has stopped responding is because the <b>Snap-Ins<\/b><b>Registry<\/b> entries are corrupted.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Log-in to a normal working computer.<\/li>\n<li>Press <b>Windows Key <\/b>+ <b>R<\/b>.<\/li>\n<li>Type <b>RegEdit<\/b> and click <b>OK<\/b>.<\/li>\n<li>Locate the following subkey:<br \/>\n<b>HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE | SOFTWARE | Microsoft | MMC | SnapIns<\/b><\/li>\n<li>Right-click <b>Snap-Ins<\/b> and choose <b>Export<\/b>.<\/li>\n<li>Specify a name for the new <b>Registry File<\/b>. For example <b>Backup.reg<\/b> and click <b>Save<\/b>.<\/li>\n<li>Copy the newly created <b>Registry File<\/b> to a removable storage device such as <b>USB<\/b> stick. Now connect USB stick to the computer you intend to troubleshoot.<\/li>\n<li>Open up the <b>Registry Editor<\/b>. Click <b>File <\/b>| <b>Import<\/b>.<\/li>\n<li>Locate the <b>Backup.reg <\/b>file and click <b>Open<\/b>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Provide Local\/ Remote Access to Users<\/h2>\n<p><b>DCOM<\/b>-specific settings have to be changed in order to provide permissions to access local and remote data.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Type <b>Dcomcnfg <\/b>and press <b>Enter<\/b>.<\/li>\n<li>This will open the <b>Component Services<\/b> window.<\/li>\n<li>Expand the following node:<br \/>\n<b>Console Root | Component Services | Computers | My Computer<\/b><\/li>\n<li>Now right-click <b>My Computer<\/b>, select <b>Properties<\/b>.<\/li>\n<li>This will open up a new dialog. Click <b>COM Security <\/b>tab.<\/li>\n<li>Click <b>Edit Default<\/b> under <b>Access Permissions<\/b>.<\/li>\n<li>Make sure all specified groups\/ usernames are allowed <b>Local Access<\/b> as well as <b>Remote Access<\/b>.
