First, determine the string that contains the wrong file path, and then replace it with the full path to ListSvc.dll.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Open Registry Editor using <em>RegEdit<\/em> command in the Run dialog.<\/li>\n<li>This opens up a new window. Click Edit and then choose Find.<\/li>\n<li>In the \u201cFind what\u201d textbox type the following search query (bullet point). Make sure all three checkboxes (Keys, Values and Data) in the <em>Look at <\/em>section are checked.\n<ul>\n<li><strong>C:\\ProgramData\\{9A88E103-A20A-4EA5-8636-C73B709A5BF8}\\ListSvc.dll<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Click Find Next.<\/li>\n<li>The search process may take several minutes. Be patient and let it conclude.<\/li>\n<li>Once it highlights the requisite string, double-click it.<\/li>\n<li>Replace it with the following:\n<ul>\n<li><strong>%SystemRoot%\\System32\\ListSvc.dll<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Click OK. Exit out of the screen and restart your system.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Rollback Recent Updates<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>You might have recently updated the below-mentioned drivers using Device Manager. Or the system might have automatically downloaded them as a part of scheduled updates. Restore earlier driver versions using the driver rollback option in Device Manager.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Press Windows Key + X; choose Device Manager.<\/li>\n<li>Expand the top node.<\/li>\n<li>Look for the following drivers:\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Realtek Ethernet Controller Driver<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>WIDCOMM Bluetooth Software<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Right-click both each of these drivers and then choose Properties &gt; Driver tab &gt; Roll Back Driver button.<\/li>\n<li>Exit and restart your system upon the driver rollback completion.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Reinstall .NET Framework<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Microsoft .NET Framework components are deeply integrated into your OS. Sometimes they get corrupted and cause the bad image error. Reinstalling Microsoft .NET Framework should fix the problem.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Type \u201cWindows Features\u201d in the Search Box on your Taskbar.<\/li>\n<li>Open \u201cTurn Windows Features on or off\u201d from Search Results.<\/li>\n<li>This will open up a new dialog. Uncheck the following:<br \/>\n<strong>.NET Framework &lt;Version&gt;<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Click OK. Now follow the on-screen instructions and finally reboot.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Reinstall Microsoft DirectX<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Typically the DirectX setup file is located in the game installation folder in a subfolder named as \u201cRedist\u201d. Use the Search feature in File Explorer (upper right corner textbox) to find that folder.
