Well, it keeps coming whenever you start a program. But do you know what\u2019s the most effective way to avoid it? Read on.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<div class=\"download_home_left\"><\/div>\n<h2><b>Restore it from Recycle Bin<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>Double-click the Recycle Bin. Search for the mingwm10.dll file. Restore that file.<\/p>\n<h2><b>Repair Program Installation<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>From your Control Panel &gt; Programs &gt; Programs and Features, repair the installation of the program that displays an error. When you launch the setup for an installed software, you\u2019re typically prompted with three options \u2013 \u201cReinstall\/ repair this program\u201d, \u201cUninstall this program\u201d, and \u201cDownload and install updates\u201d.<\/p>\n<h2><b>Copy Missing File<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>Using Windows Search (at the top right corner in <i>File Explorer<\/i>), search for the missing file mingwm10.dll. Found it? Now choose to view the target folder location. Copy-paste it to the following directories along with the path specified in error message:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>C:\\Windows\\<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>C:\\Windows\\System32\\<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>Perform System Restore<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>Rollback recent changes made to your computer by using <b><i>System Restore\u00a0<\/i><\/b>tool. Use \u201crstrui.exe\u201d keyword in Run dialog box <b>(Windows Key + R)<\/b>.<\/p>\n<h2><b>Update Video Drivers<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>If you\u2019re receiving this error while playing a 3D video, update video driver software. (<b>Right click &gt; Update driver software<\/b>)<\/p>\n<h2><b>Install Available Windows Updates<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>Check the latest Windows Updates from Microsoft. From the <i>Settings<\/i> page, click <i>Update &amp; Security <\/i>icon.<\/p>\n<h2><b>Test Memory<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>Memory testing is perhaps necessary to diagnose and troubleshoot problems with your RAM. Use \u201cMemory\u201d keyword in Windows Search, open that program and perform testing. And reboot your system.<\/p>\n<h2><b>Limit your Startups<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>Using the <b><i>System Configuration\u00a0<\/i><\/b>program in earlier versions or <b><i>Task Manager<\/i><\/b> in Windows 10, restrict the startup programs. Why? Because one or more conflicting startups may have caused the mingwm10.dll error.<\/p>\n<h2><b>Repair Windows Installation<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>From the Welcome screen of the setup program, choose to repair installation.
