Press Windows Key + R simultaneously.<\/p>\n<p>2. Type \u201cRegEdit\u201d and click OK.<\/p>\n<p>3. This opens up a new window. Locate following sub key:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SYSTEM\\CurrentControlSet\\Control<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>4. Double click a string named \u201cWaitToKillServiceTimeout\u201d<\/p>\n<p>5. Replace the value with \u201c2500\u201d and click OK.<\/p>\n<p>6. Locate following sub key:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Control Panel\\Desktop<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>7. Double click \u201cHungAppTimeout\u201d and \u201cWaitToKillAppTimeout\u201d strings and reduce their values subsequently.<\/p>\n<p>8. Close the window and restart your computer for the changes to take effects.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><b>Upgrade your Hardware<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>Ensure you\u2019ve newest set of hardware to avail maximum performance. Upgrade your processor, add more RAMs, use an external hard disk, buy a graphics card if you\u2019re playing games, and so on.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><b>Free Up Disk Space<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>Delete the temporary and duplicate files to create free space. Download and install <b>Clone Files Checker<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>2. Add new drives\/ partitions to the List Box on far left.<\/p>\n<p>3. Customize scan options- select full scan in case you want to include all sorts of file types; or select custom scan if you would like to scan only specific file types. In latter case, check-up the file types. Example: Images, videos, music, documents, archives.<\/p>\n<p>4. Fire up Control Panel.<\/p>\n<p>2. In the Search Box located on upper right corner of your screen, type \u201cPerformance\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>3. You have now Search Results on your screen.<\/p>\n<p>4. Click \u201cAdjust the appearance and performance of Windows\u201d link under \u201cSystem\u201d category.<\/p>\n<p>5. This opens up a new dialog named <i>Performance Options<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p>6. Click Advanced tab.<\/p>\n<p>7. Click Change button under \u201c<i>Virtual Memory<\/i>\u201d category.<\/p>\n<p>8. Now that you\u2019ve Virtual Memory dialog box on your screen. Uncheck the box named \u201cAutomatically manage paging file size for all drives\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>9. Select your system drive, usually C:\\<\/p>\n<p>10. Select \u201cCustom size\u201d and specify a higher Paging File Size.<\/p>\n<p>11. Click OK | OK.
