At the moment of watching videos on YouTube, the phone tends to freeze.<\/p>\n

The problem is that video keeps freezing while the sound is on. Here are given a few steps that would help you fix YouTube freezing on Android devices.<\/p>\n

Optimize Apps<\/h2>\n
    \n
  1. Unlock your phone, tap the Main Menu.<\/li>\n
  2. Tap Settings icon.<\/li>\n
  3. Scroll down; tap Apps.<\/li>\n
  4. Tap Downloaded tab.<\/li>\n
  5. Tap the name of an app you would like to stop.<\/li>\n
  6. Tap Force Stop button.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Clear YouTube App Cache<\/h2>\n

    1. Open Apps page. Refer Steps # 1-3 from Optimize Apps section.<\/li>\n
    2. Tap the All icon.<\/li>\n
    3. Tap YouTube app.<\/li>\n
    4. Scroll down the page.<\/li>\n
    5. Tap “Clear Cache” under Cache category.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Update YouTube App<\/h2>\n
        \n
      1. Tap Main Menu icon.<\/li>\n
      2. Tap Play Store.<\/li>\n
      3. Tap and hold from left to right. A new panel will be displayed.<\/li>\n
      4. Tap Settings option.<\/li>\n
      5. Check-up “Notifications” checkbox.<\/li>\n
      6. Tap Auto-Update Apps.<\/li>\n
      7. Tap “Auto-update apps at any time. Data charges may apply” option.<\/li>\n
      8. Exit the Play Store.<\/li>\n
      9. Press and long hold Power key.<\/li>\n
      10. Tap Restart.<\/li>\n
      11. Make sure your smartphone is connected to the Internet.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Turn Off Background Synchronization<\/h2>\n

        1. Open Settings page. Refer Steps # 1-2 from Optimize Apps section.<\/li>\n
        2. Scroll down the page.<\/li>\n
        3. Tap Accounts & Sync.<\/li>\n
        4. Turn off Auto-Sync feature.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          Note:<\/strong><\/span><\/em> If you do not wish to turn off synchronization of all apps, review each app and disable sync independently.<\/p>\n

          Get More Storage Space<\/h2>\n

          1. Open Settings page. Refer Steps # 1-2 from Optimize Apps section.<\/li>\n
          2. Scroll down; tap Storage.<\/li>\n
          3. Tap Make more space option in all following categories:\n
              \n
            • App Storage<\/li>\n
            • Phone Storage<\/li>\n
            • SD Card.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
